RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER needed for an upscale casual dining restaurant/ steakhouse in the Akron/ Canton area (Wooster, OH) with a growing regional restaurant group.
2-5 years of F&B Manager from a Country Club or Private Club, or AGM or GM experience managing in an upscale casual restaurant (i.e. Hyde Park Steakhouse, Morton’s, Blue Point Grille, Rosewood Grille, LockKeepers, Capital Grille, Ruth’s Chris, etc.).
Entrepreneurial Mindset/ Ownership Mentality
Must be prepared to be the face of the business in a connected, small town where you will often interact with local investors and stakeholders
Ability to think outside of the box and work in a non-corporate environment
Understanding of implementing and maintaining team building
Proven ability to motive, develop and train managers and staff
Hands-on Manager/ Table Touching
Must be passionate about the industry and be a driven leader
High School Diploma or higher education
